Aether Team Discusses Paranormal
Last weekend, we (myself, Shad, Beaux & Carly) spent a good part of the night chatting with our down to earth, open-minded, skeptic friend, Brent. He’s also a practicing Catholic, who just happens to have some interesting paranormal experiences himself.
His encounters occurred when he lived on an Indian reservation at age 23 and shared his space with an invisible roommate’s. Will elaborate on the specifics of his nightmare-ish stories later. He’s now in his 30’s, and works as a History teacher in Austin, TX.
As the conversation of the night progressed, natural, curious Aether team questions arose.
What could make something move that wasn’t ghostly? What is the makeup of ’said item’ if it’s interacting with the physical world (i.e. rocks don’t have a desire to move or break glasses). Is anything smarter than a human (since ghosts of people normally are claimed to move things). Is paranormal activity reserved for only humans? What about demons or angels (Catholics believe in them – it’s a myth that they’re like people, according to religions God made angels first, people later, so people don’t become them). What if the ‘ghost’ had/has a religion, how does that effect the afterlife state? If there’s a universal oneness (i.e. God energy), and it exists outside space/time, when we’re not in the physical form, then are we/they part of that singularity? Can ’souls’ get stuck? What’s the difference between intelligent hauntings vs. residual? What’s the substrate material that it occupies? If it can do one thing, why can’t it do all things all the time? What type of energy does it take to manifest paranormal interaction? (i.e. the electronic theory – the transfer of electrons across a medium – usually copper) So what about biochemical reactions?? When we die, does our energy merge into the oneness? the seemingly indescribable comprehension……?
These are a just FEW questions that were entertained, and hashed out this past weekend. We believe that debating these issues in a mature, conversationally smart way, helps us grow and learn. In our opinions, no one really KNOWS what happens to us when we die. But we’re willing to try to find out.
The video footage of this conversation will be posted in the near future… until then, thanks for reading.
Have a SUPERnatural day!
